Adam Nobs Selected to Academic All-State Football Team

Mound Westonka High School senior Adam Nobs was recently named to the Individual Class ​4A Academic All-State Football Team. Academic All-State team members must be senior varsity letterman for the current season who are starters on offense, defense, or kickers.

Selected players must have outstanding football and leadership abilities in addition to academic excellence. They must carry a 3.0 (4.0 scale) grade point average in an academic core curriculum in their sophomore, junior, and first quarter of senior years, and they must not have any Minnesota State High School League eligibility penalties or infractions during their high school careers.

Nobs carries a 3.91 cumulative GPA and excelled on the football field throughout his career. He was selected to the Twin Cities All-District Honorable Mention Team as a running back, defensive lineman, and kicker this season (2019) as well as he was a 3-year letterwinner for the White Hawks.

Nobs finished his White Hawks football career with 20 total tackles, 3 TFL's, 2 QB sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, 1 blocked kick, 25 receptions for 200 yards, and 999 yards rushing on 181 attempts. He also scored sixteen touchdowns, kicked one field goal, and kicked one extra point during his career.

Outside of football Nobs is involved in Hockey (team captain), National Honor Society, Link Crew, and Band. Nobs is undecided where he will continue his education though he is considering the Air Force Academy as an option.
