The Mound Westonka defense was able to tighten the screws after offensive miscues and stay perfect on the year after a 21-6 victory over the Bloomington Kennedy Eagles last Friday.

Junior running back Tucker Anderly launched the White Hawks into a 14-0 lead with a monster 42-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and a 5-yard scamper for a score in the second. He'd also add 11 tackles on defense.

The Eagles would score before the end of the half to cut the Mound Westonka lead to 14-6 at the break.

In the third quarter, White Hawks sophomore quarterback Tyler Von Bank found senior Charlie Nesbitt for a 22-yard touchdown reception for the game's final score. He'd finish with 128 yards passing and 57 yards rushing.

Nesbitt made a huge impact on the defensive side of the ball as well, racking up 9 tackles and two interceptions.

Senior Seth Anderson added 10 tackles of his own, including two sacks.

Mound Westonka will try to extend their unbeaten streak to 5 games when they host Richfield for Homecoming on Friday, 9/27 at 7pm.
